Resources for Academic and Personal Support

We care deeply about your academic and personal growth as a student at Delaware.  To promote that, the University has established a number of units on campus that collectively offer a wide variety of resources to help you be successful.  Many of the sites listed below contain additional links to useful materials and resources ranging from academic support and study tips to career guidance, financial support and student life issues. These include:

CAS ​Student Success Center​: provides general student support with academic policies and issues.

Office of Academic Enrichment: offers individual and group tutoring, study skills workshops, etc.

Office of Disability Support Services: assists students with accommodations for various types of disabilities.

Student Support Services Program: provides assistance, counseling and enrichment for undergraduates who qualify for participation in a federal TRIO program.

Morris Library: provides space for individual and group study, a multimedia design center, and workshops in addition to help with using the library collection of physical and digital resources.
 
Center for Counseling and Student Development: provides resources to promote mental and emotional health.

Several units provide more specialized tutoring help or services.  These include:

Math Tutorial Lab: provides tutoring help for introductory math classes.

Interdisciplinary Science Learning Laboratories (ISLL) Learning Center: offers drop-in peer tutoring for introductory level science and math classes.

University Writing Center: offers  tutorial help and workshops in clear and effective writing.

Multilingual Student Communication Center: provides writing tutoring services for students whose first/native language is not English.

Oral Communication Fellows: offer assistance in the development and delivery of public presentations.

Information Technologies: home for all information about computing at UD, including connecting to the UD network and available licensed software.  UD students have free access to the Microsoft Office 365 package (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote) .
